Don’t Go Back in History Your Memory’s Kind’a Slow

The Great Global Warming Debate has been an ongoing process in the US since about 1997. Much of the groundwork was surreptitiously laid by companies like Enron and Lehman Brothers that worked behind the curtains in concert with dead and dying Old Europe — especially France — to quietly stab America in the back. Then, as of November 7, 2000 it was certain that George Bush had defeated Al Gore (the EU and UN presidential choice) and the war against reason went mainstream.

It has of course been a cat fight ever since then and especially after Al Gore’s May 26, 2006 fictive docudrama, An Inconvenient Truth, premiered at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival. While Kristen Byrnes (Ponder the Maunder) — a 15-year old high school genius researcher and writer of a school essay — was easily able to see through all of Gore’s superstition, inaccuracies, and misinformation, Western academia at that time remained silent, even in the face of all the feckless toadies of the establishment consensus who marginalized the young Byrnes’ iniative and scholarship with a misogynistic glee that was not seen again until Governor Sarah Palin was selected to be John McCain’s VP running mate in the 2008 presidential election.

From the beginning global warming has been the wet dream of the same folks — the Leftist secular socialists and liberal fascists. After Al Gore was awarded the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize the once prestigeous award is practically the mark of the devil now. Please enjoy this little blast from the past with its fun look back and see how little things have changed despite more than 15 years of the Left manufacturing fears about global warming and lies about how bad capitalism and Americanism have been for humanity.

We can all appreciate the nuances of the various mathematical approaches to problem-solving. We should not, however, deceive ourselves or others when it comes to applying these approaches or being fooled into believing that public schoolteachers can use them to save the world by modeling the Earth’s climate. About one thing there can be no debate: the Left owns the coming global warming energy crunch that has been caused by standing on the neck of the nation’s free enterprise economy since the 70s.

Part of my problem with the whole process is, that it seems that the cleaner we make our energy generation capability… now we want to come up against an obstacle that nothing can come out of those pipes, we have already taken out the VOX, the NOX, the SOX, the POX, the TOX. Now it is the carbon dioxide and water that are coming out of those smokestacks that has to be stopped.” (Michael Burgess, Committee on Energy and Commerce, 109th Congress Hearings, Second Session, July 2006)

About Wagathon

Hot World Syndrome—fear of a hotter, more intimidating world than it actually is prompting a desire for more protection than is warranted by any actual threat. A Chance Meeting– We toured south along the Bicentennial Bike Trail in the Summer of 1980, working up appetites covering ~70 miles per day and staying at hiker/biker campgrounds at night along the Oregon/California coast (they were 50¢ a day at that time). The day's ride over, and after setting up tents, hitting the showers, and making a run to a close-by store, it was time to relax. The third in our little bicycle tour group, Tom, was about 30 yards away conversing with another knot of riders and treating himself to an entire cheesecake for dinner. He probably figured Jim and I would joke about what a pig he was eating that whole pie and decided to eat among strangers. Three hours later after sharing stories and remarking on a few coincidences that turned up here and there, Tom and one of the former strangers realized they were cousins, meeting in this most unlikely place for the first time. ~Mac
