Climate change politics corrupts the world economy. You cannot keep success bottled up. Creating wealth takes everyone and that’s why capitalism makes it happen. The founders understood: it takes everyone working together to preserve individual liberty and that is what leads to a successful economy.
An oil-rich Mideast could care less if the US is energy independent. Most of humanity resides elsewhere. An OPEC monopoly has all of the pockets in the rest of the world to pick. The only people who want America to fail are Eurocommies.
In the book The Fountainhead, philosopher Ayn Rand was writing about corruption not architecture. We are living Rand’s novel today. Rand could have been writing about climate change instead of architecture, Michael Mann could be Ellsworth Toohey and William Gray might be Howard Roark.
In our modern-day ‘Fountainhead’ the federally-funded finger-pointers of global warming are academia’s corrupt monks spreading seeds of self-defeatism. All humanity must fight against and overcome the use by the government of the peoples’ own money to put the people out of business.
In the West everyday we’re supposed to be very afraid all of the time and believe that only a vigilant government bureaucracy can keep us safe. But, loss of life and liberty oftentimes comes on cat feet when the lights are out and your eyes are closed.
The proclamation that the incandescent light bulb should nevermore be should put a spotlight on the real threat to humanity in our time. In the UK where they have centuries more experience torturing the language, incandescent bulbs are now banned! This is what secular, socialist economies do: first you clear out freedom in the marketplace to make way for insiders and cronies who look to their benefactors for wealth and position. Then you turn the people into servants of the government bureaucracy
The liberal fascism of Western light bulb bans is a study in how to create new crimes and criminalize the business of living by distorting markets, rewarding political allies, increasing costs, destroying wealth and opportunity and in the case the ‘officially’ sanctioned bulbs, creating mercury and RF pollution. Retailers found a loophole though. Manufacturers of incandescent bulbs now make a tougher, “rough-service lamp” to avoid the UK’s ban but can only market it for industrial use only. No households allowed. So, although the new ‘tougher’ bulbs are half the price of the ‘official’ bulbs a homeowner can only buy them through non-traditional outlets like buying marijuana on a street corner. In response, the UK’s light bulb enforcement agency has upped the fearmongering by essentially comparing incandescent bulbs to the fire hazard of dressing by candlelight and publishing threatening warnings implying the loss of fire insurance, as follows:
“Consumers should ensure that they do not use special purpose/rough service lamps for household room illumination as they are declared by the manufacturer as unsuitable for this purpose. Consideration should be given to the terms and conditions of any household insurance policy if such lamps are used for illuminating your house.”
The liberal fascism of the Euro-communist business model in Britain essentially substitutes respect for individual liberty with the liberal fascism of an Al Gore. The light bulb ban is more like the entitlement of a ‘Downton Abbey’ over the market place. By comparison, Capitalism is more like the enterprise spirit of a Thomas Edison and the freedom to meet and speak your mind at Faneuil Hall. In an Americanist-economy wealth accrues to those with better ideas who bring value to society. The liberal fascists bring light bulb bans.
Unsurprisingly then, it is in California where you will find the ban on incandescent light bulbs. And, incandescent light bulbs are to be phased out across the country. Compare that to bulb-ban-banners in New Zealand who put an end to the insanity. NZ is years ahead of us in understanding how the insidious hoax and scare tactics of global warming alarmism is destroying the country.
Based on the historical evidence the IPCC’s prediction of a 0.3°C rise in global average temperature per decade would be an unusual figure if it had happened; however, a lower figure would not have been unusual. That is why the IPCC picked a high number: a lower estimate is easily explained by natural factors alone. A lower figure is to be expected and shouldn’t alarm anyone because it has happened before –e.g., the period 1910 to 1940. What is of interest is that there has been no global warming for the last 15 years.
Looking at the spread of predictions of the climate models used in the IPCC’s AR4, the forecast for average warming is 0.2°C per decade centered on a Gaussian distribution with a standard deviation of about 0.14°C per decade. Thus, if one regards a measure of spread of climate models as a reasonable basis for prediction (even though different models contain different physics; they are not simply ‘samples’ drawn from a random distribution) there is an 8% probability of getting no increase in a ten-year period and a less than 1% chance of twenty years with no trend. At the moment, the chances of 15 years of no trend are about 4%. Importantly, the 0.2°C per decade warming predicted by the IPCC has never been met. Rates have always been lower.

“We really do not know why this stagnation
is taking place at the moment. I hardly know a colleague
who would deny that it has not got warmer in recent years.” ~Jochem Marotzke,
director of the Max Plank Institute for Meteorology
With that as a backdrop we now have in German precision Full resolution the illuminating Gluehlampe in all its eye-popping royal majesty. How can this simple image be the picture of the day, and of the week and considered to be one of the finest pictures to be featured on Wikimedia Commons? What figures into the bulb’s outstanding imagethetics? It probably is a phenomena much like why the c’s and e’s and l’s and r’s have brought even those who lack fluency to proclaim cellar door to be among if not the most beautiful word in the English language—that according to Wiki has been, cited as the most beautiful-sounding phrase in English—a word that is said to have been the favorite of Edgar Allan Poe who was moved to copy its magic as best he could to describe that which cannot be, forgotten—the Raven’s Nevermore.
