Is it scarier to believe humanity is here and along for the ride — weather good or bad thanks to God — or, as Western school teachers have come to preach: humanity is working for its own ends and together, are calamitously heating the globe and about to destroy the Earth?
When fiction writers provide us a glimpse of a super human it usually is accompanied with an explanation about how their powers came about. Being bathed in a massive dose of cosmic radiation is what they usually share in common. In the school teacher version, what binds us Earth-killing global warming super humans together is that we’re all Westerners who provide the very modernity the climate alarmists enjoy as they blame and righteously rail against it.
Academia is global warming’s big loser. No one expects politicians to tell truth. But, it’s been an eye-opener for many that the teachers of climate alarmism – a self-proclaimed consensus of everyone in the government-education complex — have been so eager to succumb to bias and to then blame Americanism for climate change.
The climate alarmists tossed out the scientific method as quickly as capitalism and Judeo-Christian ethics. At the expense of truth, the facts, good rules of logic, common sense and in concert with the haters of America in the UN and Europe who have indulged in propaganda for political purposes, academics have done all they could do to bring about the fall of the country. Why, because of global warming?
Statistically, it is flat impossible to discern an underlying trend of human-caused global warming amidst the noise of natural variation. So hard, statistically, that it’s impossible for climate alarmists to claim otherwise and remain credible. Only a desire-driven bias can cut through the deafening cacophony of natural variability to arrive at a pathologically altruistic conclusion that the Left must kill Americanism to thwart actions of humanity that are driving weather toward calamitous climate change.
In the final analysis, it is clear that when altruistic efforts in science are presented as being beyond reproach, it becomes all too easy to silence rational criticism. Few wish to run the gauntlet of criticizing poorly conducted, highly subjective “science” which is purported to help, or indeed, of daring to question the basis of problematic scientific paradigms that arise in part from good intentions.
To object to a scientific theory is one thing, but to object to a scientific theory that connects however tenuously to feelings of morality is quite another. Once morality plays a role, even at the most subliminal level, the formidable cognitive biases of altruism and its pathologies can swing into play. ~Barbara Oakley

The IPCC was produced to support these beliefs that Exxon creates hurricanes, McDonald’s creates typhoons, the Great Devil is responsible for the floods, and the Little Devil (renamed to the rabid dog by the mullah-in-chief today) brought the wildfires to the world. And everyone will be living in a happy paradise once the assets of these villains are confiscated and redistributed.”
Just as soon as we were able to more accurately determine what exactly is going on in the world, we now have information provided by satellites that tells us there has been no global over the last 17 years. And yet, AGW theory says what’s happening now can’t happen: it’s too cold. The odds-on bet is that it’ll get colder as time goes by. Climate change is real and government may continue to fund climate alarmism for years but actual global warming may be a thing of the past for decades.
The [IPCC’s “Climate Doom”] conference [recently held in Warsaw, Poland] claimed to have some significant achievements such as the $280 million dollars pledged by the combined United States, United Kingdom and Norway to help stop deforestation. Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and forest Degradation (REDD) is the UN’s program to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from deforestation. I kid you not, the program is actually called REDD, remember? like hammer and sickle? You can’t make this stuff up! ~Art Horn

What could be scarier?
