The Global Warming Pandemic

Could Western civilization be on the way out? America has been propping it up for a while now and looking from the belly of the beast, is fast becoming a ‘has been’. From NYC to California, the virus of societal neurosis (suspicion of the establishment) is palpable and oftentimes, for good reason.

A spiteful and short-sighted ‘defund police’ movement is more than an example, it’s a symptom, of a Leftist government-education complex grown too large to fail that is indeed, failing society and leaving nothing better to replace the socio-cultural heritage they seek to abandon than with their, pie-in-the-sky-Tesla-in-every-garage-free-lunch Eurocommie Utopia, that has failed every time it’s been tried.

Americanism is on the way out, along with respect for concepts of personal and professional responsibility and honoring first principles like, freedom of speech and individual liberty. Going quickly is a desire to overcome superstition and ignorance by eliminating false, biased and misleading information, valued only for its utility in maintaining political power by deceiving and stampeding the public. Fear of human-caused global warming became fear of catastrophic climate change because, integrity in science was abandoned and the scientific method was killed, to prepare the way for a government takeover of the economy.

Lancet certainly had it’s come-to-Jesus with a 180° turnaround on the probability of a COVID-19 made in China connection. We can only hope public climate scientists will have a similar emergence of sanity and express a similar deep concern about the impact of global warming insanity on the wellbeing of Western civilization. All scientists must now work diligently and make an effort to save science and society from a viral threat since 1979 concerning the debilitating mental problem of Hot World Syndrome (fear of a hotter, more intimidating world than it actually is prompting a desire for more protection than is warranted by any actual threat). It’s time to make the connection and do all we can to reduce the impact that Democratic-Socialist politicization of the weather has imposed on the science, the economy and common sense of the nation.

“In 2015, Science magazine tried to replicate the findings of 100 articles published in three prominent psychological journals and found that only 36 had the predicted results. One year later, the Federal Reserve did its own study, which could not reproduce most outcomes of prominent economics articles they had picked for review. [John P. A.] Ioannidis himself now believes that up to half of the discoveries ever published in peer-reviewed social science and medical journals are wrong, an opinion he shares with National Association of Scholars (NAS) president Peter Wood. One terrible result, says Wood, is that many of the regulations, laws, and programs routinely passed by Congress on the basis of supposedly solid research have no real scientific justification.” ~LM Andrews, ‘The Wuhan cover-up is more typical than you think.’

A Leftist politicization of science, academia and the media is the real existential threat.

Hot World Syndrome—fear of a hotter, more intimidating world than it actually is prompting a desire for more protection than is warranted by any actual threat. A Chance Meeting– We toured south along the Bicentennial Bike Trail in the Summer of 1980, working up appetites covering ~70 miles per day and staying at hiker/biker campgrounds at night along the Oregon/California coast (they were 50¢ a day at that time). The day's ride over, and after setting up tents, hitting the showers, and making a run to a close-by store, it was time to relax. The third in our little bicycle tour group, Tom, was about 30 yards away conversing with another knot of riders and treating himself to an entire cheesecake for dinner. He probably figured Jim and I would joke about what a pig he was eating that whole pie and decided to eat among strangers. Three hours later after sharing stories and remarking on a few coincidences that turned up here and there, Tom and one of the former strangers realized they were cousins, meeting in this most unlikely place for the first time. ~Mac
