Self-convinced global warming alarmist views of a Hot World Hot are more like a modern Doomsday religion than science. Such mentalizations may actually be misunderstood, monster under the bed, ‘Oceanic’ feelings that are better understood by Sigmund Freud than by objective investigators of Climate Change.
Academia vs the scientific skeptics of the man- caused Hot World fanaticism is the obverse of the vaccine scientists of Covid-19 vs the anti-vaxx disinformation industry. In both instances, fake news rewards the religious zeal of charlatans and quacks to take full advantage of the credulous, superstitious and ignorant among us.
Looking for a psychic equivalence, the global warming alarmists are the witch doctors– the charlatans and quack scientists of the socialist establishment who predict a runaway, rivers running red and seas rising global warming catastrophe to alarm the voter. It’s all part of a plan too stampede the people into thoughtlessly criminalizing the behavior of individuals going about their business of earning an honest living.
A job market that works and an economy that rewards productive individuals for providing all the goods and services we all desire is a threat to government control of everyday life. Everything and everybody works when government gets out of the way. Nothing gets done just because the government promises a house with a Tesla in the garage and a chicken in every Instant Pot.
There’s no such thing as a free lunch. Promises are cheap but delivering on promises takes work. The ‘big guy’ in a free economy that delivers on promises is the little guy who is willing to work for a living. “Socialist governments,” said Margaret Thatcher, “traditionally do make a financial mess. They always run out of other people’s money. It’s quite a characteristic of them.”
The fall of the blue states will move especially quickly if the federal hegemony over human activities is supplanted by a greater state autonomy. This could happen if the voter rejects Democrat-Socialist Party objectives to diminish individual liberty and personal responsibility and instead, reaffirms the peoples’ right to keep more of what they earn.
Politicians and the mainstream media collaborate in deception to proclaim a non-existing consensus as being real. Has that ever happened before? It was no further back than in the early ’90s when only 17% of scientists involved in climate research even believed global warming had begun. According to Gallup “53% of scientists actively involved in global climate research did not believe global warming had occurred,” says Jay Richards, and “30% weren’t sure.” Moreover, “a Greenpeace poll showed 47% of climatologists didn’t think a runaway greenhouse effect was imminent,” says Richards and, “only 36% thought it possible and a mere 13% thought it probable.’
